Ingredients
  

Chicken Balls

  • 1 lb ground chicken Preferably lean
  • 0.25 cup breadcrumbs Plain or Panko
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce Low sodium
  • 1 tbsp ginger, minced Fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced Fresh garlic
  • 1 green onion, chopped
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 0.5 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Sauce (Optional)

  • 0.25 cup honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce Low sodium
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, combine ground chicken, breadcrumbs, soy sauce, ginger, garlic, green onion, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  • Mix well and form into 1-inch balls.
  • Place the chicken balls on a baking sheet. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes, or until cooked through.
  • While the chicken balls are baking, whisk together honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  • If desired, toss the baked chicken balls with the sauce before serving. Serve hot.

Notes

These chicken balls can also be pan-fried or air-fried for a different texture.
