Maple Walnut Banana Ice Cream
A healthy and delicious ice cream alternative made with frozen bananas, maple syrup, and walnuts.

Ingredients
Base
- 4 ripe bananas sliced and frozen
Flavor
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup pure maple syrup
- 0.5 cup walnuts chopped
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract optional
Instructions
- Slice the ripe bananas and freeze them for at least 2 hours, or until solid.
- Place the frozen banana slices into a food processor.
- Add maple syrup and vanilla extract (if using) to the food processor.4 ripe bananas, 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- Process until the mixture becomes smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. This may take a few minutes.
- Add the chopped walnuts and pulse a few times to incorporate them into the ice cream.
- For a firmer consistency, transfer the ice cream to a freezer-safe container and freeze for another 30-60 minutes.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
Adjust the amount of maple syrup to your desired sweetness. For a richer flavor, toast the walnuts before chopping.
