Homemade Sports Hydration Drink
A natural, refreshing electrolyte drink made with simple ingredients to keep you hydrated and energized during workouts or hot weather. No artificial colors or refined sugars!
Ingredients
- - 2 cups cold water filtered or spring
- - 1 cup coconut water natural, unsweetened
- - 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- - 2 tbsp lemon juice
- - 1 tbsp maple syrup or raw honey
- - 1/8 tsp sea salt or pink Himalayan salt
- - Optional: pinch of magnesium powder or a few drops of trace mineral drops
Instructions
- Mix Ingredients
- In a large jug or bottle, combine water, coconut water, orange juice, lemon juice, sweetener, and salt. Stir or shake well to combine.
- Optional Additions
- If using magnesium or mineral drops, add and stir again.
- Chill and Serve
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or serve immediately over ice.
- Storage
- Store in the fridge and consume within 2 days for best freshness.
