Garlic Broccoli and Mushroom Stir-Fry
A quick and healthy side dish featuring broccoli and mushrooms sauteed with garlic and a touch of soy sauce.

Ingredients
Produce
- 1 head Broccoli cut into bite-sized pieces
- 8 oz Mushrooms cremini or white button
- 3 cloves Garlic freshly minced
Pantry
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil extra virgin
- 1 tablespoon Soy Sauce low sodium
- 0.5 teaspoon Sesame Oil optional, for flavor
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Wash and cut the broccoli into florets. Slice the mushrooms. Mince the garlic.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.
- Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet and cook until they soften and start to brown, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the broccoli florets to the skillet. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes, or until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
- Stir in the soy sauce and sesame oil (if using). Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
Notes
For a spicier dish, add a pinch of red pepper flakes along with the garlic.
