Cinnamon Sore Throat Remedy
A soothing and health-conscious remedy for sore throats using the natural benefits of cinnamon.

- 1 cup water Filtered water is recommended
- 1 stick cinnamon stick Ceylon cinnamon is preferred for its milder flavor and health benefits
- 1 tablespoon honey Raw and unfiltered honey is best
- 0.25 teaspoon lemon juice Freshly squeezed
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, combine the water and cinnamon stick. Bring to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- Reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for 10 minutes to allow the cinnamon to infuse into the water.
- Remove from heat and strain the cinnamon-infused water into a mug to remove the cinnamon stick.
- Stir in the honey and lemon juice until well combined. Adjust the amount of honey to your preference.1 stick cinnamon stick, 1 tablespoon honey
- Serve warm and sip slowly to soothe your sore throat. You can repeat this remedy 2-3 times a day as needed.
Notes
For a stronger cinnamon flavor, you can gently crush the cinnamon stick before simmering. Ensure honey is added after the mixture has cooled slightly to preserve its beneficial properties.
