Cottage Cheese Biscuits
Fluffy and delicious biscuits made with cottage cheese for a healthier twist.
Equipment

- 1 Baking Sheet
- 1 Biscuit Cutter or knife
Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 2 cup all-purpose flour or whole wheat pastry flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 0.5 tsp salt
Wet Ingredients
- 1 cup cottage cheese low-fat or full-fat
- 0.5 cup milk any kind
- 0.25 cup melted butter or oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.2 cup all-purpose flour, 1 tbsp baking powder
- In a separate bowl, combine the cottage cheese, milk, and melted butter.0.5 tsp salt, 1 cup cottage cheese
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently pat it out to about 1 inch thickness. Use a biscuit cutter or knife to cut out biscuits.
- Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Let the biscuits cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
For extra flavor, add herbs like rosemary or thyme to the dough.
