Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2 cup all-purpose flour or whole wheat pastry flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1 cup cottage cheese low-fat or full-fat
  • 0.5 cup milk any kind
  • 0.25 cup melted butter or oil

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

  • In a separate bowl, combine the cottage cheese, milk, and melted butter.
    0.5 tsp salt, 1 cup cottage cheese
  • Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  • Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and gently pat it out to about 1 inch thickness. Use a biscuit cutter or knife to cut out biscuits.
  • Place the biscuits on a baking sheet and bake in a preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
  • Let the biscuits cool slightly before serving. Enjoy!

Notes

For extra flavor, add herbs like rosemary or thyme to the dough.
