Ultimate Veggie Burgers
These veggie burgers are packed with flavor and nutrients, making them a healthy and satisfying meal. They are easy to make and can be customized with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients
Burger Patties
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cooked quinoa
- 1 cup cooked black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup chopped vegetables e.g., carrots, zucchini, bell peppers
- 0.5 cup rolled oats
- 0.25 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
Serving
- Burger buns
- Lettuce
- Tomato slices
- Avocado slices
- Your favorite toppings
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes. Add the chopped vegetables and cook for another 5 minutes, until slightly tender.
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked quinoa, black beans, sautéed vegetables, rolled oats, cilantro, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Shape the mixture into 4 patties. If the mixture is too wet, add more rolled oats.
- Cook the patties in a skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes per side, or until heated through and slightly browned. Alternatively, grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Serve the veggie burgers on burger buns with lettuce, tomato, avocado, and your favorite toppings.
Notes
For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free rolled oats. You can also add other spices to your liking.
