Immunity & Inflammation Buster Drink
This vibrant drink is packed with antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds to boost your immune system and reduce inflammation. Perfect for a daily dose of wellness!
Equipment
- 1 Blender Any standard blender will work.
- 1 Knife For chopping ingredients.
Ingredients
Base
- 1 cup Water Filtered water is preferred.
Fruits and Vegetables
- 0.5 cup Pineapple chunks Fresh or frozen. Pineapple contains bromelain, an anti-inflammatory enzyme.
- 0.5 inch Ginger Fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped. Ginger is a powerful anti-inflammatory.
- 0.25 cup Mango chunks Fresh or frozen. Provides Vitamin C and antioxidants.
Immunity Boosters
- 0.5 tsp Turmeric powder Turmeric contains curcumin, a potent anti-inflammatory compound. Add a pinch of black pepper to enhance absorption.
- 1 tbsp Lemon juice Freshly squeezed. Provides Vitamin C and aids in detoxification.
Optional Sweetener
- 1 tsp Honey Raw honey is preferred for its additional health benefits. Adjust to taste.
Instructions
- Wash and chop the pineapple, ginger, and mango.
- Combine all ingredients (water, pineapple, ginger, mango, turmeric powder, lemon juice, and optional honey) in a blender.
- Blend until the mixture is completely smooth. You may need to scrape down the sides of the blender a couple of times.
- Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately. You can add ice if preferred.
Notes
For a colder drink, use frozen fruit. You can also add a pinch of black pepper to enhance turmeric absorption.
