Equipment

  • 1 Blender Any standard blender will work.
  • 1 Knife For chopping ingredients.

Ingredients
  

Base

  • 1 cup Water Filtered water is preferred.

Fruits and Vegetables

  • 0.5 cup Pineapple chunks Fresh or frozen. Pineapple contains bromelain, an anti-inflammatory enzyme.
  • 0.5 inch Ginger Fresh ginger root, peeled and chopped. Ginger is a powerful anti-inflammatory.
  • 0.25 cup Mango chunks Fresh or frozen. Provides Vitamin C and antioxidants.

Immunity Boosters

  • 0.5 tsp Turmeric powder Turmeric contains curcumin, a potent anti-inflammatory compound. Add a pinch of black pepper to enhance absorption.
  • 1 tbsp Lemon juice Freshly squeezed. Provides Vitamin C and aids in detoxification.

Optional Sweetener

  • 1 tsp Honey Raw honey is preferred for its additional health benefits. Adjust to taste.

Instructions
 

  • Wash and chop the pineapple, ginger, and mango.
  • Combine all ingredients (water, pineapple, ginger, mango, turmeric powder, lemon juice, and optional honey) in a blender.
  • Blend until the mixture is completely smooth. You may need to scrape down the sides of the blender a couple of times.
  • Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately. You can add ice if preferred.

Notes

For a colder drink, use frozen fruit. You can also add a pinch of black pepper to enhance turmeric absorption.
