Healthy Nutella Bliss Balls
These healthy Nutella bliss balls are a delicious and guilt-free treat, perfect for satisfying your sweet cravings without refined sugars or unhealthy fats.

- 1 Mixing Bowl
- 1 Baking Sheet Optional, for chilling
Ingredients
Base
- 1 cup Medjool dates soaked in hot water for 10 minutes and drained
- 1 cup Raw hazelnuts
- 0.25 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 0.25 teaspoon Sea salt
Optional Coating
- 2 tablespoons Chopped hazelnuts for coating
- 2 tablespoons Unsweetened shredded coconut for coating
Instructions
- Soak the pitted Medjool dates in hot water for 10 minutes to soften them. Drain well before using.
- In a food processor, combine the soaked and drained dates, raw hazelnuts, unsweetened cocoa powder, and sea salt.1 cup Medjool dates, 1 cup Raw hazelnuts, 0.25 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder, 0.25 teaspoon Sea salt
- Process until the mixture is smooth and sticky. It should form a ball in the food processor.
- Roll the mixture into 12 equal-sized balls using your hands.
- If desired, roll each ball in chopped hazelnuts or unsweetened shredded coconut until fully coated.2 tablespoons Chopped hazelnuts
- Place the bliss balls on a baking sheet and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up.
- Enjoy your healthy Nutella bliss balls immediately or store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
Notes
For a smoother texture, you can roast the hazelnuts before using. Roast at 350°F (175°C) for 10-12 minutes, then rub off the skins. If the mixture is too dry, add a tablespoon of water at a time until it reaches the desired consistency. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
