Modern Waldorf Salad
A healthier twist on the classic Waldorf salad, featuring Greek yogurt, honey, and walnuts.

Ingredients
Salad Ingredients
- 4 cups mixed greens washed and dried
- 1 large apple such as Granny Smith or Fuji
- 1 cup red grapes
- 0.5 cup chopped celery
- 0.5 cup chopped walnuts toasted for extra flavor
Dressing
- 0.5 cup plain Greek yogurt non-fat or low-fat
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 0.125 teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, honey, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- In a large bowl, combine the mixed greens, diced apple, halved red grapes, chopped celery, and chopped walnuts.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and toss gently to combine.
- Serve immediately or chill for later. Enjoy!
Notes
For a vegan option, use plant-based yogurt and maple syrup.
