Ingredients
Ingredients
4
cups
water
Filtered water is recommended
2
tablespoons
dried turkey tail mushroom pieces
Ensure the mushrooms are sourced from a reputable supplier
1
teaspoon
honey or maple syrup
For added sweetness
Instructions
In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
Add the dried turkey tail mushroom pieces to the boiling water.
4 cups water
Reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 15-20 minutes. This allows the beneficial compounds to extract into the water.
Remove from heat and strain the tea through a fine-mesh sieve or strainer into a cup or teapot. This removes the mushroom pieces.
If desired, add honey or maple syrup to taste. Stir well to combine.
2 tablespoons dried turkey tail mushroom pieces
Serve the turkey tail mushroom tea warm and enjoy the earthy flavor and health benefits.
Notes
For a stronger flavor, simmer for a longer period. Adjust the amount of mushroom to your liking.
