  • 2 tablespoons dried turkey tail mushroom pieces Ensure the mushrooms are sourced from a reputable supplier
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup For added sweetness

Instructions
 

  • In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil.
  • Add the dried turkey tail mushroom pieces to the boiling water.
    4 cups water
  • Reduce heat to low and let the mixture simmer for 15-20 minutes. This allows the beneficial compounds to extract into the water.
  • Remove from heat and strain the tea through a fine-mesh sieve or strainer into a cup or teapot. This removes the mushroom pieces.
  • If desired, add honey or maple syrup to taste. Stir well to combine.

Notes

For a stronger flavor, simmer for a longer period. Adjust the amount of mushroom to your liking.
