Instructions
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the whole wheat flour, baking powder, and salt.

1 tbsp baking powder,
0.5 tsp salt
Add the unsweetened applesauce, melted coconut oil, and almond milk to the dry ingredients. Stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
0.5 cup unsweetened applesauce,
0.25 cup coconut oil
Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Let the biscuits cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a sweeter taste, add a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the dry ingredients.
