Ingredients
Paste
0.5
cup
baking soda
Natural cleaning agent.
water
To form a paste.
Spray
White Vinegar
Use to spray after applying baking soda paste.
Instructions
Remove oven racks and clean any loose debris from the bottom of the oven.
In a bowl, mix baking soda with enough water to form a spreadable paste.
Coat the inside of the oven with the baking soda paste, avoiding the heating elements. Be sure to wear gloves.
Let the paste sit for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight.
After the paste has sat, spray the entire inside of the oven with white vinegar.
0.5 cup baking soda
The vinegar will react with the baking soda and foam. Use a spatula or scraper to remove the grime, then wipe clean with a damp sponge or cloth.
Rinse the oven thoroughly and dry with a clean cloth. Replace oven racks.
Notes
For stubborn stains, repeat the process or scrub with a bit more force.
