Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 2.5 cup whole wheat flour
  • 0.5 cup rolled oats
  • 0.25 cup flax seeds
  • 0.25 cup chia seeds
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 0.5 tsp salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 1.75 cup water lukewarm
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine whole wheat flour, rolled oats, flax seeds, chia seeds, baking soda, and salt.
    2.5 cup whole wheat flour, 0.5 cup rolled oats, 0.25 cup flax seeds, 0.25 cup chia seeds, 1 tsp baking soda, 0.5 tsp salt
  • Add lukewarm water, olive oil, and maple syrup to the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
    1.75 cup water, 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
  • Bake for 45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Slice and enjoy!

Notes

For a richer flavor, try toasting the seeds before adding them to the dough.
