Healthy Lemon and Cottage Cheese Mousse
A light, creamy, and protein-rich dessert made with fresh lemon and cottage cheese. Naturally sweetened and perfect for a refreshing, guilt-free treat.

- - 1 cup cottage cheese preferably full-fat for creaminess
- - 1/4 cup plain Greek yogurt
- - 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup to taste
- - Zest of 1 lemon
- - 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- - 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- - Pinch of salt
- - Optional: 1/2 tsp turmeric for color
- - Optional toppings: fresh berries crushed nuts, or coconut flakes
Blend the Base
Add cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, honey/maple syrup, lemon zest, lemon juice, vanilla extract, and salt to a blender or food processor.
Process Until Smooth
Blend on high speed for 1–2 minutes until very smooth and creamy. Scrape down sides as needed.
Chill
Spoon the mousse into small glasses or bowls. Chill for at least 1 hour to set and allow flavors to develop.
Serve
Garnish with fresh berries, a sprinkle of lemon zest, or a drizzle of honey before serving.
