Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, melted coconut oil, maple syrup, and sea salt. Mix well until a dough forms.
Press the dough evenly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
Bake the crust for 15 minutes, or until lightly golden.
While the crust is baking, prepare the filling. In a separate bowl, combine blackberries, applesauce, chia seeds, lemon juice, and vanilla extract.
Mix well and let sit for 10 minutes to allow the chia seeds to thicken the mixture.
Pour the blackberry filling over the pre-baked crust.
Return to the oven and bake for another 20 minutes, or until the filling is set and bubbly.
Let the blackberry slice cool completely before cutting into squares. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours for best results.
