  • 0.5 cup raw almonds
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.25 cup chocolate chips dairy-free if needed
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • If your dates are dry, soak them in warm water for 10 minutes to soften. Drain well.
  • In a food processor, combine the dates, almonds, cocoa powder, chocolate chips, chia seeds, vanilla extract, and sea salt.

  • Process until the mixture forms a sticky dough. If it's too dry, add a teaspoon of water at a time until it comes together.
  • Roll the dough into 12 equal-sized balls.
  • For extra chocolatey goodness, roll the balls in additional chocolate chips.
  • Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the balls to firm up.
