Chocolate Chia Pudding

  • 0.5 cup Chia seeds
  • 0.25 cup Unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups Almond milk (or any milk of choice)
  • 2 tablespoons Maple syrup (or honey) or to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 0.125 teaspoon Pinch of salt
  • Optional toppings: berries, nuts, coconut flakes

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together chia seeds, cocoa powder, almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, stirring occasionally to prevent clumping.
  • Before serving, stir the pudding well. If it's too thick, add a splash more almond milk.
  • Divide the pudding into individual serving dishes and top with your favorite toppings. Enjoy!

Notes

Can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
