No Flour or Sugar Apple Biscuits

Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 2 cup rolled oats, finely ground Use a food processor or blender to grind the oats into a fine flour.
Wet Ingredients
- 2 apples, grated Use your favorite apple variety, such as Gala or Honeycrisp.
- 0.25 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 2 tablespoon coconut oil, melted
Spices and Flavorings
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 0.5 teaspoon nutmeg
- 0.25 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

- Drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- Let the biscuits cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes
For a sweeter biscuit, add a tablespoon of honey or maple syrup to the batter. Store leftover biscuits in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
