Base

  • 1 cup filtered water Can substitute with coconut water

Fruits & Vegetables

  • 0.5 cup chopped beetroot Fresh is best, but frozen works too.
  • 0.5 cup chopped carrot Adds sweetness and nutrients.
  • 0.25 cup chopped cilantro Helps in detoxification.
  • 0.5 apple, cored Adds sweetness and fiber.

Boosters

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice Supports liver function.
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated Anti-inflammatory and supports digestion.

Instructions
 

  • Combine all ingredients in a blender.
  • Blend until completely smooth, adding more water if needed to reach desired consistency.
  • Pour into a glass and serve immediately for best taste and nutritional benefits.

Notes

For a colder smoothie, use frozen fruit or add a few ice cubes. Adjust sweetness by adding more apple or a touch of honey or maple syrup.
