- 1 Blender High-speed blender recommended
Ingredients
Base
- 1 cup filtered water Can substitute with coconut water
Fruits & Vegetables
- 0.5 cup chopped beetroot Fresh is best, but frozen works too.
- 0.5 cup chopped carrot Adds sweetness and nutrients.
- 0.25 cup chopped cilantro Helps in detoxification.
- 0.5 apple, cored Adds sweetness and fiber.
Boosters
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice Supports liver function.
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated Anti-inflammatory and supports digestion.
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a blender.
- Blend until completely smooth, adding more water if needed to reach desired consistency.
- Pour into a glass and serve immediately for best taste and nutritional benefits.
Notes
For a colder smoothie, use frozen fruit or add a few ice cubes. Adjust sweetness by adding more apple or a touch of honey or maple syrup.
