- 200 g paneer crumbled
- 0.5 cup mashed potatoes
- 0.25 cup onions finely chopped
- 1 green chili finely chopped (optional)
- 1 tbsp coriander leaves chopped
- 0.5 tsp ginger-garlic paste
- 0.25 tsp turmeric powder
- 0.5 tsp red chili powder
- 0.5 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
Coating Ingredients
- 2 tbsp cornflour
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled paneer, mashed potatoes, chopped onions, green chili (if using), chopped coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala, and salt. - Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into round or oval cutlets.
- In a separate bowl, mix cornflour and breadcrumbs.2 tbsp cornflour
- Roll each cutlet in the cornflour-breadcrumb mixture, ensuring they are evenly coated.
- Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium heat. Shallow fry the cutlets until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.
Notes
For a healthier option, you can bake the cutlets in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for 15-20 minutes, flipping halfway through.
