Healthy Crunchy Chocolate Bars
A delicious and healthy twist on classic chocolate bars, packed with crunchy goodness and wholesome ingredients.

Ingredients
Base Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats Gluten-free if needed
- 0.5 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 0.25 cup maple syrup
- 0.25 cup almond butter Or any nut butter
Chocolate Layer
- 0.5 cup dark chocolate chips 70% cacao or higher
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil
Crunchy Add-ins (optional)
- 0.25 cup chopped nuts
- 2 tablespoons shredded coconut
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, applesauce, maple syrup, and almond butter. Mix well.1 cup rolled oats, 0.5 cup unsweetened applesauce, 0.25 cup maple syrup, 0.25 cup almond butter
- If using, fold in chopped nuts and shredded coconut.0.5 cup dark chocolate chips
- Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until lightly golden brown.
- While the base is baking, melt dark chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth.1 teaspoon coconut oil
- Pour melted chocolate over the baked base, spreading evenly.
- Let cool completely, then cut into bars.
