Yogurt Chocolate Cups

Equipment

  • 4 Small Cups or Molds Silicone molds are recommended for easy removal.

Ingredients
  

Chocolate Layer

  • 4 oz Dark Chocolate Melted
  • 1 tsp Coconut Oil Optional, for smoother texture

Yogurt Layer

  • 2 cups Plain Greek Yogurt Full-fat or low-fat
  • 1 tbsp Honey or Maple Syrup To taste
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract Optional

Instructions
 

  • Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, stirring occasionally until smooth. If using, stir in coconut oil.
  • Pour the melted chocolate evenly into the bottom of each cup or mold. Place in the freezer for 5-10 minutes to harden.
  • In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract (if using). Mix well.
    4 oz Dark Chocolate, 1 tsp Coconut Oil
  • Remove the cups from the freezer and pour the yogurt mixture evenly over the hardened chocolate layer.
  • Return the cups to the freezer for at least 2 hours, or until completely frozen.
  • Remove from freezer about 5 minutes before serving. If using molds, gently peel away the mold to release the yogurt chocolate cups.

Notes

For variations, add berries or nuts between the chocolate and yogurt layers. Store in the freezer.
