Equipment
- 1 Juicer A masticating juicer is recommended for best results.
- 1 Knife For chopping ingredients.
- 1 Cutting board For safe ingredient preparation.
Ingredients
Vegetables
- 1 cup Spinach Fresh, organic spinach preferred.
- 0.5 Cucumber Peeled if desired.
- 0.5 cup Kale De-stemmed.
- 0.25 head Romaine Lettuce
Fruits
- 0.5 Green Apple Granny Smith recommended.
- 0.25 Lemon With peel, if organic.
Optional Additions
- 0.5 inch Ginger Fresh, peeled.
- 0.25 teaspoon Turmeric Fresh turmeric root preferred.
Instructions
- Wash all fruits and vegetables thoroughly. Chop the cucumber, apple, and lemon into pieces that will fit into your juicer.
- Feed the spinach, cucumber, kale, romaine lettuce, green apple, lemon, ginger (if using), and turmeric (if using) through the juicer.
- Pour the juice into a glass and serve immediately for the best flavor and nutritional value. You can add ice if desired.
Notes
Adjust the ingredients to your taste preferences. If you prefer a sweeter juice, add more apple. If you want a more intense green flavor, increase the amount of spinach or kale.
