Healthy Dark Chocolate Avocado Mousse
A decadent and healthy dark chocolate avocado mousse that's rich, creamy, and surprisingly good for you!

- 2 ripe avocados Pitted
- 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder High-quality
- 0.5 cup maple syrup Pure
- 0.25 cup almond milk Unsweetened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract Pure
- 0.1 teaspoon sea salt To taste
Instructions
- In a food processor or high-speed blender, combine the avocados, cocoa powder, maple syrup, almond milk, vanilla extract, and sea salt.
- Process until completely smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides as needed. This may take a few minutes.
- Divide the mousse evenly among 4 small bowls or glasses. Cover and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld and the mousse to firm up slightly.
- Serve chilled. Garnish with fresh berries, a sprinkle of cocoa powder, or a drizzle of maple syrup, if desired.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark cocoa powder. You can also add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a spicy kick.
