Healthy Banana Oat Loaf
A moist and delicious banana oat loaf made with whole grains and naturally sweetened. Perfect for a healthy breakfast or snack.

Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 1.75 cups rolled oats
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 0.5 tsp baking soda
- 0.25 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
Wet Ingredients
- 3 ripe bananas, mashed
- 0.25 cup maple syrup
- 0.25 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Optional
- 0.5 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the rolled oats, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.1.75 cups rolled oats, 1 tsp baking powder, 0.5 tsp baking soda, 0.25 tsp salt, 0.5 tsp cinnamon
- In a separate bowl, mash the bananas. Add the maple syrup, applesauce, egg, and vanilla extract. Mix well.3 ripe bananas, mashed, 0.25 cup maple syrup, 0.25 cup unsweetened applesauce, 1 large egg
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- If using, fold in the chopped walnuts or pecans.1 tsp vanilla extract
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and bake for 50-55 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Slice and serve. Enjoy!

Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or in the refrigerator for up to a week.
