Cauliflower and Spinach Saute
A healthy and flavorful side dish featuring cauliflower and spinach, perfect for a light lunch or dinner.

- 1 Large skillet Non-stick preferred
- 1 Cutting board
- 1 Chef's Knife
Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 1 head cauliflower about 4 cups of florets
- 5 oz spinach baby spinach preferred
Flavor Enhancers
- 2 cloves garlic freshly minced
- 0.25 tsp red pepper flakes optional, for a little heat
- 2 tbsp olive oil extra virgin olive oil
- Salt and pepper freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
- Wash and cut the cauliflower into small, bite-sized florets.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using) and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn the garlic.5 oz spinach, 2 cloves garlic
- Add the cauliflower florets to the skillet and cook for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are tender-crisp and slightly browned.
- Add the spinach to the skillet and cook until it wilts, about 2-3 minutes. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.1 head cauliflower
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.0.25 tsp red pepper flakes
Notes
For extra flavor, add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
